Premiere of the music video “the liberation” is surrounded by Hollywood glamor. What sounds so unimpressive in one sentence, came into being after a long period of preparation. As with any major project, work on the short film with the martial artists of Baar began long before this September. The ideas were born and matured. The filming was done at the martial arts summer camp in Giswil. There a respectable troop of Jung Do Kung Fu and Dae Ryeon Do Samurai fighters was gathered, the ideal crew for this project. Post-production took the same amount of time again. And the suitable platform for the premiere had to be searched. This could only be the Suisse Hall of Honour in Hinwil. Because on this occasion they all appear: martial artists from near and far. So also the US actors Cynthia Rothrock and Don Wilson, both well-known martial artists from the movies and in real life. After the seminars on Saturday, where the athletes could exchange techniques and theories, the festivities began with a gala evening that will be remembered for a long time. Also due to the premiere of the short film “The Liberation”, a unique combination of martial arts and music (composed and produced by Steps2Rec sound studio in Sins). After the film was shown, an astonished silence. Where standard martial arts themes were expected, viewers saw armies clashing, heroes defeating evil, mourners weeping for the fallen, and brave fighters choosing the honorable outcome.
