Martial arts kids movie

Where many eagerly await the start of the 5th season and wear costumes, the costume selection in the submitted short film is everyday: normal street clothes and dobok (martial arts suit). A group of children are the main characters. Long before they were born, the first moon landing took place. Do they know the date to get to the bottom of the mystery? Find out in the film “the treasure hunt". Stephan Krellmann, business manager of the GKMAF Krellmann martial arts school, filmed the 15-minute film at last year's summer camp, together with the US stuntman, Ted Alderman, and this crowd of children.

The film starts with the riddle. Coupled with footage of the summer camp trainings and the fight choreographies practiced with the US expert, the tension builds. And the kids aren't the only ones trying to solve the mystery. A villain is prowling around Giswil. Will the children succeed? Teamwork is the only way to succeed.

Teamwork is very important at GKMAF Krellmann. Not only within the teaching team, but also towards the participants, whether children, teenagers or adults. Because it is only through cooperation that the next belt is attainable.

And the potential students are increasingly reachable with the new media. That's how the short film came about. “The children provided the idea," says Krellmann, “now they are proud of their achievement and motivated to continue." The fact that the film has now been submitted for the International Short Film Festival makes her smile. “Next year there's the Oscar," they think.
